trichotomy

trichotomy

An exploration of the interplay between man and mechanism, primarily informed by Oskar Schlemmer's 1922 'Triadic Ballet.' Bauhaus furniture and tapestries were translated to shape and knitwear, and studies of breath created in collaboration with artist/illustrator Nancy Riegelman were rendered as hand embroideries.
